² Then she ran and went to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple whom Jesus loved, and said to them, They have taken away the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not know where they have laid him.

³ Peter went out, and that other disciple, and came to the sepulchre. ⁴ They ran both together, and the other disciple outran Peter and came first to the sepulchre.
